The grape varieties are : Chenin (also called Pineau of Loire) for the whites, Grolleau for the ros\u00e9s, Gamay, Cabernet Franc and a bit of C\u00f4t (Malbec) for the reds AOC. For the whites and the ros\u00e9s, as well as old vines for the reds are harvested manually.<br \/>\nThe grapes are treated with the maximum care, the process of fermentation is done slowly, under the temperature control, the maturation (ageing) takes place about six months (ageing on its must or without) resulting in refined different varieties of wines.<br \/>\nThierry BESARD wines gain constant awards and recognitions, amongst others by The Guide &#8216;Hachette des Vins&#8217; as well as &#8216;La Revue du vin de France&#8217; and &#8216;Cuisine et Vins de France&#8217; magazines.<br \/>\nOur guests particularly appreciate Thierry\u2019s pink sparkling, made according to M\u00e9thode Traditionelle also known as M\u00e9thode Champenoise.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.domaine-thierry-besard.fr\/\">http:\/\/www.domaine-thierry-besard.fr\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>AOC BOURGUEIL et AOC SAINT-NICOLAS-DE-BOURGUEIL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sylvie &#038; Christian PANTAL\u00c9ON, Domaine PANTAL\u00c9ON et Fils<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sylvie, Christian and their son Anthony operate (produce) on the 16 hectares of family domain. The vine grows on a gravel and clayey limestone soil, where the Cabernet Franc grape shows all its qualities at its best.<br \/>\nThe domain produces some great reds using the traditional method typical for the area. It is installed on 21 hectares of wine production, on the alluvium riversides of Vienne, a significant left tributary of the lower Loire, which is favourable for elaboration of the high quality Chinon wines. It is produced from the 40 years old vines, giving a wine with strong black cherry clear notes, as well as red fruit and exotic spice aromas. A wellrounded, elegant wine.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/vignobledelapoelerie.fr\">https:\/\/vignobledelapoelerie.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>AOC SAUMUR-CHAMPIGNY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The DNA of Saumur-Champigny is a land of red wine production that extends around 9 villages in the Loire Valley. The Saumur-Champigny go well with the nature they preserve, with the Loire and the tufa which give the Cabernet franc all its freshness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine des BONNEVEAUX, Famille BOURDOUX<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>15 hectars of wine exploitation by a Bourdoux family, from generation to a generation, situated in Varains, in the heart of Saumur Champigny is done in the respect to the tradition, with a manual grape harvesting and the cuv\u00e9 is thermoregulated in order to provide an optimal mastering of process of wine maceration.<\/p>\n<p>The cuv\u00e9es of the domain are :<br \/>\n<em>Vieilles Vignes<\/em> \u2013 great reds produced from Cabernet Franc grape using the traditional method typical for developing the best of Saumur Champigny reds.<br \/>\n<em>Ros\u00e9 de Loire<\/em> \u2013 a ros\u00e9 with an exception Christal, pale rose colour. It is best served at the 9\u00b0 C and goes along (accompanies) perfectly white meats, starters or appetizers and charcuterie.<br \/>\n<em>Cr\u00e9mant de Loire<\/em> \u2013 the best of festive wines, a sparkling white made from Chenin with a pale straw color with golden reflects, with flower and fruit notes.<br \/>\n<em>Cr\u00e9mant de Loire Ros\u00e9<\/em> \u2013 produced from the Cabernet Franc grape, is of salmon pink color with strawberry and rasbery notes developing in the mouth. Passionate about their metier you will be welcomed in the domain\u2019s premises and introduced to the wine-making process, the cellar, and, of course, the wines!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.domainedelucet.com\">https:\/\/www.domainedelucet.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine du PETIT VAL- GOIZIL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Half way between Angers and Saumur, the vines of Petit Val are situated within the villages of Chavagnes and Thouarc\u00e9 in the heart of Coteaux du Layon. The domain was created in 1950 by Vincent GOIZIL on 7 hectares of vines, including 1,3 AOC Bonnezeaux. After their children Denis and Janine took over the family business in 1988 and acquired more parcelles, and domain covered 18 hectares of vignes in total. Automatis\u00e9 pour les vins blancs secs, les ros\u00e9s, les mousseux et les vins rouges si l\u2019\u00e9tat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du fruit le permet, mais elle se fait manuellement si beaucoup de raisins sont ab\u00eem\u00e9s ou si il y a de grandes disparit\u00e9s de maturit\u00e9. Quant aux parcelles de Coteaux du Layon et de Bonnezeaux, elles sont naturellement vendang\u00e9es \u00e0 la main par tries successives, pour ne cueillir que les grappes suffisamment atteintes par la \u00ab pourriture noble \u00bb.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/domainedupetitval.com\/\">https:\/\/domainedupetitval.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>AOC COTEAUX DU LOIRE ET AOC JASNI\u00c8RES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the Pineau d&#8217;Aunis grape variety, the reds are light but show character with spicy tones; they can be drunk chilled or at room temperature. Made from Chenin Blanc (or Pineau de la Loire), the whites develop an exceptional aroma as soon as they are harvested and often become great wines for laying down. These can be recognised by their taste of flint.<\/p>\n<p>The whites, Coteaux du Loir and Jasni\u00e8res which is the most famous, are made from the single grape variety Chenin or Pineau de la Loire. They are fruity and ranked among the best dry white wines in France.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine C\u00c9ZIN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A family wine estate in Mar\u00e7on in the Sarthe. Amandine and Xavier Fresneau, brother and sister, take care of the estate made up of 17 hectares of vines: 6.5 ha of Coteaux du Loir white, 7.5 ha of Coteaux du Loir red and ros\u00e9 and 3 ha in the AOC Jasni\u00e8res.<br \/>\nMade from the Pineau d&#8217;Aunis and Chenin grape varieties, the wines of Domaine C\u00e9zin are elegant and have a beautiful aromatic intensity.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fresneau.fr\">https:\/\/www.fresneau.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>AOC COTEAUX DU VEND\u00d4MOIS<\/p>\n<p>The AOC Coteaux du Vend\u00f4mois is a very special and original wine from the Loire. It can be produced in three colours, red, white and\u2026 grey! The soil is made up of tuffeau decomposed into clays with flint on the sloping hillsides. The red wines are blended wines based on dominant Pineau d&#8217;Aunis supplemented by a contribution of Gamay or Pinot Noir. Cabernet-franc can also be used for wines for laying down. The white wines are mainly made from chenin and chardonnay. The wines of Coteaux du Vend\u00f4mois gris are made exclusively from Pineau d\u2019Aunis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cave de la BERTHELOTI\u00c8RE. Caves JUMERT.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Created in 1800, this vineyard and its freestone cellar have been managed from father to son for seven generations. Today it is Charles Jumert, installed in 1984, and his son Florent who lead &#8220;as naturally as possible without claiming organic&#8221; this farm spread over 13 ha.<\/p>\n<p>Their many cuv\u00e9es mainly made from Chenin and Pineau d&#8217;Aunis, a typical local grape variety with aromas of strawberry and white pepper.<\/p>\n<p>From dry to mellow via sparkling, all palates will find what they are looking for. You can also let yourself be surprised by a few rarities such as a Meslier-Saint-Fran\u00e7ois cuv\u00e9e, an extremely rare grape variety.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>",
